Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of DropLens. We've tried to keep them short and readable. If anything's unclear, email hello@droplens.app and we'll explain.

1. The service

DropLens (the "Service") is a web-based revenue-analytics dashboard for Google Analytics 4 e-commerce properties, hosted at droplens.app. The Service reads GA4 data via Google's official Data API, computes derived metrics (CVR, AOV, AIV, funnel step-through rates, driver waterfalls), and displays them in your browser. The Service is operated by the entity behind droplens.app ("we", "us", "our").

2. Your account

To use DropLens you must sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure. You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind any organisation you represent.

3. GA4 access

You authorise DropLens to read your Google Analytics data via the analytics.readonly scope. You confirm that you have the right to grant this access for every GA4 property you connect. You can revoke our access at any time via your Google Account permissions page. See the Privacy Policy for what we do and don't store.

4. Free trial

Each GA4 property you connect is eligible for a one-time 7-day free trial. The trial clock starts when you first load the dashboard for that property. During the trial you have full access to all dashboard features. No payment method is required to start a trial.

After 7 days, access to that property is suspended unless you start a paid subscription. The trial is per property, not per account — you may trial multiple properties if you control them, but each property can only be trialed once.

5. Pricing & billing

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window on your first paid subscription for any given GA4 property. To request a refund, email billing@droplens.app within 14 days of the first charge for that property, and we will process the refund through Paddle.

Refunds do not apply to:

We reserve the right to refuse or partially adjust a refund if:

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to Paddle and your card issuer's timelines.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel a property's subscription at any time from the dashboard or by emailing billing@droplens.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Outside the 14-day first-purchase refund window described in section 6, charges already taken are non-refundable.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

9. Availability & quotas

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The Service depends on the Google Analytics Data API, which has its own quotas and may change behaviour, deprecate metrics, or restrict access at Google's discretion — events outside our control.

The GA4 Data API enforces a shared daily quota at the Google Cloud project level. If the Service is heavily loaded, individual requests may be throttled. We monitor quota usage and will request increases when sustained demand requires it.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including its code, design, brand, and documentation — is our intellectual property. Your GA4 data and the reports derived from it remain yours. We claim no ownership over your data.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the metrics it displays will match those shown in the GA4 web interface in every case — GA4 itself is subject to sampling, thresholding, and quota effects.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for fraud or gross negligence).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party's rights — including any claim by Google relating to your unauthorised use of GA4 properties.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription(s) and revoking our Google access. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
